Kidzlikedanny THE DREAM TEAM
Jake Lloyd from Birmingham played the part of Christopher Hill in the Autumn 2003 series of Sky One Television’s ‘The Dream Team’. Jake is part Carlton Television’s Junior Workshop. He appeared in Episodes One, Two, Eight and Twelve. Filming was done over the Summer of 2003 on location at Palma Nova, Majorca and London. The series was produced by Hewland International at their Three Mills Studios in London. Whilst filming, Jacob met many interesting people including Chelsea FC star Melchiot and night-club impresario Peter Stringfellow. Amongst the cast were Birmingham ex-pats Neil Newbon (son of sports presenter Gary Newbon), Keeley Mills who played the part of his Mom, Alison Hill and James Daffern as Matthew Webster. Many of you may remember James from his parts in the Carling lager commercial where the two guys empty the fridge of medical supplies to keep the beer cold and the Renault Clio ‘Don’t You Want Me Baby’ advert. Jake’s character has now been written out of the show but who knows, he could be back!
